Wine and Wild West
Thanks to everyone who came out to support Allan Brooks Nature Centre at the Wine and Wild West Fundraiser – presented by Fraser Barker Advisory Group of Aligned Capital Partners Inc.
First People’s Celebration
Our 3rd Annual First Peoples’ Celebration got rained out but we made the best of it! Our annual festival celebrates First Nations, Metis and Inuit culture through engaging activities and educational presentations.
Though we had to hide for cover, inside spirits were high and we still had beautiful prayers, songs and presentations by Tim Edwards, Patsy Gregoire and The Earth Sisters, not to mention fabulous vendors and art including the renowned David Wilson.
The popular community bannock roasting over the fire will just need to wait until next year!
