Allan Brooks Nature Centre would like to celebrate BACK TO SCHOOL with a FREE live-reading event on Saturday, August 26 from 1-2pm.
Local Authors Virginia Hall (Various) and Sarah Elliman (A Tree Just Like Me) will be joining us in person for live readings of their own literary works, plus many more!
All ages welcome, no registration required.
There will be coloring pages to occupy busy hands, and we hope to get a food truck for the day!
The event will happen indoors, in our Ken Barton Classroom, unless we get a massive turnout, where we will change the location to the Grasslands theatre.
Visits to ABNC a recommended to bring:
- Closed toed shoes
- Sunscreen/hats/sunglasses/umbrella
- Camera
- Snacks and refillable water bottles
