Come to the Allan Brooks Nature Centre on Wednesday, August 11 for an evening Family Fun Night with The BC Wildlife Park! Staff will present a 45-minute program called “Encountering Wildlife” with live animals starting at 6:00pm, showcasing our favourite species such as borrowing owls, rubber boa snakes, and painted turtles. If you’d love to see our native Okanagan species up close and personal, you won’t want to miss this! Family Fun Night will run from 6-8pm, pre-registration is required, and space is limited to 50 guests (unless the PHO allows for more at outdoor gatherings). Okanagan Ice Pops will be available for purchase and popcorn will be available by donation. In addition, the Interpretive Centre and Grasslands Trail will be open in the evening, and everyone is welcome to a FREE take-away craft project. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 4-17, free for kids 3 and under. Register online:
