Look up on the hill and into the stars. Allan Brooks Nature Centre (ABNC) and the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) will be holding an Astronomy night on Saturday, July 26th starting at 8 pm – 11:00 pm. View planets like Mars, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, deep-sky objects, or see the moon up close! Bring your own telescope/binoculars or use one available on site.
Admission is by donation. This is a very popular event and is held regularly weather permitting. Come early to get the best viewing spot, parking is available on site!

Join us for a screening of the Symphony of the Soil !
From Deborah Koons Garcia, the director that brought you “The Future of Food”, the “Symphony of the Soil” is an new film that explores the mutuality between soil, water, humans, plants and animals.
Symphony of the Soil will be presented Thursday, March 19 at 7pm at the Schubert Centre by Allan Brooks Nature Centre in partnership with the BC Institute of Agrologists, the Food Action Society of the North Okanagan (FASNO), and the Sustainable Environment Network Society (SENS). Tickets available at the door.
