Workshop – Coexistence with Beavers & Wildlife Care

September 13, 2025 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm PDT

a watercolor tan textured background with sage green color blocks, wood grain, and grass graphics on top. A graphic of Okie the Marmot is walking to the left with black text that says "Workshop Series". The Allan Brooks Nature Centre logo it top right.

Are you aware of any Beavers near to where you live?  Would you like to know more about this ‘keystone species’?

Come and hear what Eva Hartmann – founder of Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (IWRS), licensed wildlife rehabilitator, registered veterinary technician, specialist in Beaver care and human-beaver coexistence strategist, and her colleague Michelle Grégoire, have to tell us about these often misunderstood animals.

Eva, Michelle and their colleagues at Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society provide care for sick, injured, or displaced wildlife with the goal of responsible release.  During the hour with us, Eva will be talking about IWS’s Beaver Care Program in a 30ish minute presentation followed by a question and answer session.
