One of the Okanagan’s most anticipated wildlife events is returning this summer. The Raptors Performance Series takes place June 20–24, 2026 at the Grassland Theatre at Allan Brooks Nature Centre, bringing audiences face-to-face with some of nature’s most powerful and awe-inspiring birds of prey.
Presented in partnership with The Raptors, this five-day event series features live flight demonstrations and educational presentations led by expert handlers. Guests will experience the thrill of watching hawks, owls, eagles, and vultures soar overhead while learning about their behaviours, habitats, conservation challenges, and importance within our ecosystems.
Whether you are a first-time visitor or a returning fan, The Raptors offers an unforgettable opportunity to connect with these remarkable birds through both large-scale demonstrations and intimate small-group encounters.
Flight Demonstrations
Experience the incredible flight patterns and natural behaviours of birds of prey during these educational outdoor presentations held in the Grassland Theatre.
Ticket Pricing
- Children (Ages 4–17): $25
- Seniors (60+): $25
- Adults (18–59): $35
- Ages 3 and under: Free (no registration required)
At-the-Door Pricing
- $40 per person (Ages 4+)

Small Group Raptor Encounters
Enjoy an up-close, hands-on experience with these incredible birds in a small group setting led by expert handlers.
Encounter Details
- One-hour experience
- Maximum 6 participants per encounter
- Participants must be at least 8 years old
- Three encounters offered daily
Ticket Pricing
- $115 per person
Please note: No tickets will be sold at the door for Small Group Encounters. These experiences sell out quickly.
