Okanagan Moves for Nature Education | Fall Fundraiser
Join us this fall for Okanagan Moves for Nature Education, an exciting event supporting Allan Brooks Nature Centre’s mission to promote nature-based learning for all ages. From September 1st-15th, 2024, lace up your shoes and hit the trails for a great cause. Whether you walk, run, hike, or bike through the beautiful Okanagan, every kilometer you track helps fund vital educational programs. These programs inspire environmental stewardship in our community.
Our programs teach participants about the unique ecosystems and wildlife of the Okanagan Valley. They foster a love of nature in children, youth, and adults alike. By joining Okanagan Moves, you’re helping us continue providing these hands-on learning experiences that make a difference.
How it Works:
Register for the event with a $10 fee to receive your tracking form. You can choose to join one of two categories: On Foot (walk, run, or hike) or Cycling. Track your kilometers from September 1-15, 2024. After you register, you will then receive a tracking form, which will be available as a printable PDF. Use your form to track your kilometers – the participant with the most kilometers tracked in each category will win a grand prize!

Every kilometer makes a difference! Your participation helps to support Allan Brooks Nature Centre’s educational programs, which include guided nature tours, hands-on workshops, and school programs. These efforts emphasize the importance of conserving our natural world.
